Africa Data Centres, a Cassava Technologies business and the continent’s leading carrier-neutral co-location data centre provider, has announced that it is expanding its capacity in Johannesburg to 100MW of IT load.
Africa Data Centres, announced that it has won three awards at the prestigious Africa Digital Economy Awards (ADEA) and the company bagged the Innovative Data Centre Provider of the Year award, but Stephane Duproz won Data Centre CEO of the Year 2021 and Krish Ranganath, Data Centre CTO of the Year 2021.
Africa Data Centres, the only pan-African network of interconnected, carrier-and cloud-neutral data centres on the continent, has completed its new Johannesburg data centre, based in its Midrand Campus which is one of the largest in Africa.
Africa Data Centres (ADC) part of Liquid Telecom group, named Stephane Duproz as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and he will oversee the commercial and operational development of ADC’s four existing data centre facilities in Johannesburg, Nairobi, Cape Town and Harare.
