Atman Launches Flagship Data Center In Poland For AI Applications

Atman, Poland’s largest data center operator, has launched its new flagship WAW-3 facility, with a view to strengthening the country’s position as a digital hub in Central and Eastern Europe. The state-of-the-art data center is specifically designed to handle the growth of AI workloads and cloud services.

Located just outside Warsaw on a 5.5-hectare site, the data center has 14.4 MW of IT capacity and utilizes advanced liquid cooling. This technology makes the facility ideally suited for the most demanding computing tasks and the development of “AI Factories.”

“This investment elevates us to a new level as a data center services provider – not only in Poland, but across the entire CEE region – as evidenced by the trust of the financial institutions backing our project. It marks another step in our expansion within the region’s most business-dense area, further strengthening Warsaw’s position as a key data hub and reinforcing Atman’s reputation as a world-class partner supporting the strategic growth of its customers,” said Slawomir Koszolko, Atman’s CEO.

The WAW-3 project also focuses on sustainability, with very high energy efficiency and a closed-loop water system. The entire campus will ultimately comprise three buildings, with a total IT capacity of 43 MW. Development will grow in line with commercial demand in the future. The nearly €300 million investment was financed by a consortium of six banks, which support Atman’s ambitious sustainability goals.
