Eaton has recently announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Tripp Lite, a supplier of power quality products and connectivity solutions including single-phase uninterruptible power supply systems, rack power distribution units, surge protectors, and enclosures for data centres, industrial, medical, and communications markets across the globe.
Ashraf Yehia, Managing Director, Eaton Middle East, said “This important acquisition will strengthen our Power Quality portfolio as Tripp Lite specializes in data centre infrastructure and power offerings including UPS, battery packs, UPS battery backups, power distribution units and a broad portfolio of data centre hardware. “
The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close mid-2021.
