Rackspace set asides $10 million in OpenStack Public Cloud resources

During these unprecedented times, the technology services company Rackspace has set aside $10 million in no-cost OpenStack Public Cloud hosting resources over the next six months for organisations participating in COVID-19 response efforts.

Existing customers can also add Microsoft Teams to their Office 365 account for free for six months. In addition, a webpage has been created to give customers access to experts, resources and solutions and will be updated with efforts from the technology community, our partners, our ecosystem, and Rackers, to get services to customers faster.

Matt Stoyka, Chief Solutions Officer at Rackspace, has noted that these are extraordinary times and that it is powerful to see all the ways that its partners, customers and industry as a whole are coming together to help. “Rackspace’s commitment to customers and the community has never been stronger and we will continue to look for additional resources and relief solution options.”
