Permira looking out to sell Teraco

Johannesburg-based Africa’s largest data-center operator, Teraco Data Environments Pty Ltd. is reported to be on the shelf as Permira, the current owners of the company is looking to liquidate the assets anywhere in the range of $600 million to $1 billion including debt in a sale, as reported by Bloomberg.Teraco currently operates vendor neutral colocation data centres in Cape Town, Durban & Johannesburg. It has over 200 major network providers colocated within Teraco and provides the interconnectivity across the African continent.
