Oman Data Park opens new data centre

Oman Data Park (ODP) opened the gates of its new Tier 3 data centre located at Duqm in Oman during a special ceremony held under the patronage of H E Yahya bin Saeed al Jabri, chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority in Duqm (SEZAD).

The opening of Duqm data centre served as the latest milestone in the growth of company, as Duqm became the third data centre for the company in the country after two data centres build earlier in Muscat and Wattayah. Last year, ODP entered into an agreement with SEZAD to build and operate data centre to provide a fully secure environment for hosting it’s ICT services.
