Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, is developing the first phase of a solar-powered Green Data Centre in Dubai’s Warsan district, reinforcing Dubai’s push toward sustainable, future-ready digital infrastructure.
Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of DEWA announced that the company has broken ground for the first phase of the largest solar-powered data centre in the Middle East and Africa. The carbon-neutral green data centre will use 100% renewable energy with a capacity exceeding 100 megawatts.
Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has signed an agreement with Huawei to build the largest solar-powered Uptime TIER III-Certified Data Centre in the Middle East and Africa at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
