Injazat Launches Cyber Fusion Center at Injazat Data Center

Injazat, a G42 company, has announced the launch of a new operational office for the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) services in the Injazat headquarters, as part of their plan to expand their digital services and implement their framework, incorporating metaverse, digital twin, cybersecurity, and smart cities fusions.

The official opening ceremony was attended by the guest of honor, His Excellency Mohamad Al Kuwaiti, the UAE’s head of cybersecurity, and distinguished members representing the Abu Dhabi Cybersecurity Council during a ceremonial ribbon cutting alongside Ussama Dahabiyeh, CEO of Injazat, and other distinguished guests and key clients.

As the first-of-its-kind in Abu Dhabi, Injazat’s homegrown Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) monitors Injazat’s clients’ operating environments around the clock. It combines the center’s own threat intelligence with situational awareness from partners and government organizations for real-time detection, analysis, and defense against cyberthreats.

Furthermore, this strategy broadens Injazat’s capabilities by directing them towards new technological paths, such as emerging technologies with new benefits and opportunities in Web3, Agritech and Sustainability. The new services will be offered through a combination of on-premises compute and G42 cloud-hosted platforms, focusing on developing capabilities for addressing Web3, Metaverse and associated security risks and threats.

CFC will play a critical role in assisting organizations across various sectors to reduce their risks, business disruptions, and overall IT costs. It acts as a critical line of defense and uses curated intelligence about the threat landscape of its customers to accelerate and enhance threat detection and response. This will provide maximum visibility to Injazat’s customers, especially across the Middle East, offering them enhanced cybersecurity solutions and allowing them to limit their risk exposure and make informed decisions about their cybersecurity journey.

His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity in the UAE Government, said: “Cybersecurity plays a significant role in the UAE’s government work. In order for companies to stay safe and avoid digital threats, it is crucial to maintain the highest quality of cybersecurity. Al Kuwaiti stressed that the Cybersecurity Council seeks to nurture a strong cybersecurity ecosystem and drive more innovation in the sector while also supporting businesses and helping them steer clear of cyber risks. The launch of Injazat’s new center is an opportunity for government entities and other strategic industries to accelerate innovation and digital transformation in line with the UAE’s economic and national agendas. His Excellency congratulated Injazat on its growth and expansion, wishing it continued success in the future, and emphasized that as the first line of defense, the Cybersecurity Council is working to make cyberculture an integral part of the lives of individuals, companies, and institutions.”

During his speech, Ussama Dahabiyeh, Chief Executive Officer at Injazat, said: “It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of our new Cyber Fusion Center, which will become a catalyst for developing our businesses and supporting our customers and clients to mitigate risks, enhance security capabilities, boost operational efficiencies, and reduce long-term costs by implementing new cutting-edge technologies. Our numerous services are designed to solve complex industry problems and assist clients in realizing their business goals faster.”

Martin Yates, CTO of Injazat, said: “We aim to help businesses operate more efficiently while fostering a safer society and better living environments. This further enables the CFC’s services, which are constantly enhanced to meet client business requirements by modifying threat landscapes and emerging technologies, ensuring their relevance and competitiveness.”

Bersant Salihu, Manager of Injazat’s Cyber Fusion Center, said: “This expansion will allow our clients to benefit from cybersecurity to keep their companies safe, thus offering services that serve the community. It is an opportunity for all our clients across the Middle East to safeguard their data and businesses, and also benefit from higher risk visibility, thus decreasing and limiting their businesses’ risks..”

At Injazat, our mission is to maximize the power of technology while also unlocking and empowering human achievements for human progress. Our goal is to assist organizations in creating new possibilities by leveraging digital innovation and next-gen technologies. Injazat is proud to celebrate this milestone and looks forward to further growth in the near future.
